Historical Fiction

I think the thesis might be that Lincoln was obviously a mysterious man but there was more to him then meets the eye. The characters I'd have are Lincoln, his wife, and his kids. The story will be set in the time Lincoln was a president.

Motavations

I think everything can motivate anyone. Not just love, money, power, ect. Some things that motivate people aren't always for good. Usually money and power are bad motivators because they can lead to greed.

Everyone has times either where they have to put themselves first and sometimes where they choose to put themselves first. Some people hardly ever put themselves first. They always put themselves second. I think that everyone is selfish. Some more than others.

I don't remember a specific time but I remember as a kid and still today I would either beg my parents or my grandparents. I would use the puppy dog eyes. They used to work mostly when I was little but not so much anymore.

Fighting

I think it's sometimes acceptable to fight. You can fight for what you believe in. There is always ways to fight without being violent. I think I would fight for more freedom for teenagers because we don't get enough freedom.

Free Will

I believe that no one has free will. If everyone had free will there would be no laws in America. But there is and so there is no free will. There are people in this world who do things that are against the law an d don't get caught right away. I think we should have a little more free will though. I've found this through observation.

School

The first change I would make is less homework so that kids could have more time out of school so they could easily get all their homework done in about an hour so then they could have more time for after school sports and hanging out. The second thing I would do would be have study halls instead of just resource because resource is only 30 minutes and you can't get everything done in 30 minutes. So our study hall would be the length of any other class. The third thing I would do is start school a little later so kids could get a little more sleep and not be so tired during school. I think this would prepare them for high school because some high schools are like this already.

Reflection

I think our group did good. we stayed on topic and let everyone voice their opinions. Not everyone was participating though. Only the people at the front tables said anything. Jake was being very opinionated but not respectable when it came to talk and telling us that everything was wrong and that we did bad. But overall we did very well.

Canine Genetic Wrinkle Has Human Potential

Shar-Peis are known for there wrinkly faces. But the truth is they also get fevers which are short but very frequent and can cause inflammation in the dog. They may seem cute and adorable. But the truth is they suffer. The wrinkles on their faces are due to a gene mutation the dog gets when its being breed. The more you breed this type of dog the higher the risk is for them.

The wrinkles on the dog are due to a excess amount of hyaluronic which is an acid that runs through the dogs skin. This has a overreaction to the gene called hyaluronan. Scientist in Sweden, Spain, and the United States are figuring ways to get rid of some of this acid. Hopefully someday these dogs wont have thing problem.

Life

Why does life seem so long? But so short when you die. They say life's to short to be sad. But is it really? Life seems so hard at times. When you step back and take a good look at what you've done in your life, you should be proud of what you did and accomplished. You shouldn't regret anything because its life and you learn from your mistakes. Don't sweat the small stuff cause life is too short for it.

Can Humans Ever Be Equal?

I think humans will never be equal because not everyone's supposed to be equal. I think the world would look a lot like the world in "Harrison Bergeron" and would be nothing like the world we have now. There are supposed to be people who are smarter than others, people have talents that other people don't have.

Super Human Powers

If I could have any super human power it would be the power to fly because I could fly anywhere for free.
